Importing rhythms; Preview doesn't work

Hi all,
I have a few hundred drum patterns and rhythms that I wanted to import to the Roland Gi. After sneaker netting the files onto the SD card and placing them all in the the "import" directory ( Don't get me started on how f'ing stupid Roland is for not supporting sub-directories: Even MS-DOS 1.0 had them) the file are displayed. But when I press the 'preview' button to listen to them nothing happens.

Some of them the button won't come on. Some the preview button is checked and nothing happens. And on a few (1 out of 40) it plays. As I just imported and exported all of these I know that they are all MIDI 0, and channel 10.

Now, if I continue and import the pattern, then it plays. Sounds like a bug. Any one else have this problem importing patterns? :(
