I sold mine years ago, got a Stage, sold that, got a Di, sold that, got a Jupiter 50, sold that, got a Jupiter 80, sold that, bought another Juno Stage KEEPER! Getting the Gi on Sunday – Keeping it this time!

Now what I have I missed since I've been gone? It's discontinued, no editor or librarian, right? The WIFI adapter works, so there's that! and it looks like Roland bestowed us with a MAC OS X Sierra driver, too!

:)

AND... it's been sold again... ha ha

I truly do love this keyboard (I bought it twice, so I must, right?) but after taking a good hard look at my current set up, it's just redundant since I only record at home on an iMac using Logic and the live set up I'm going for doesn't require batteries, the Juno Stage easily takes care of my needs and doesn't weight that much more. It makes it easier to just concentrate on one keyboard controls, setup and favorites at a time. (Plus I love the Stage's pattern and arpeggiator editor on-board!).

I hope I don't regret selling it again... watch, I'll have a situation where using it battery powered with my Roland Street Cube will come up this spring! BUT if I do, I'm considering the VR-09 instead for those kinds of gigs where a simple split will do.

I don't use my Gi as much as I would like due to lack of space. But it makes a great MIDI controller for my JD-Xi.

I ended up buying a GAIA SH-01 with the proceeds from the sale. It's also battery powered even though it won't handle basic piano sounds, I just decided I wasn't playing piano out much. When I do play out "unplugged", I tend to play guitar and ukulele.

It is a great controller, just as the Juno Stage is, as well!
