Logic Not Being Friendly With Roland TR-8S

Why is my Roland TR-8S drum machine triggering my other hardware and software VST's in Logic Pro?

Also how do I print a midi channel that I can change in sync with the drum machines on board sounds?
All setting are default on TR-8S.
