Re: The Beatles
Good one Vlad. I just had to watch the whole thing! And while I was at it, I had to watch several more.
This one was very special to me, being the opening track on side two of "Lost Chord" and having that childhood flashback appeal much like Penny lane and Strawberry Fields. The line "children with the skipping rope, tell me what you sing, playtime is getting on, bell's about to ring" always reminded me of my childhood days in the schoolyard, full of chatter, laughter and games. And then...b-r-r-r-r-r-i-i-i-i-n-n-n-n-g-g-g!!! Funs over! Time to go back to class!

And this choice gem. Done in beautiful sepia tone and obviously lip synced, the visuals are lovely and the shots of the very young lads with their side chops are choice! Outside looking in? More like inside looking out!

Re: The Beatles
OK, so everyone knows that Lennon and McCartney were the duck's nuts when it came to writing the greatest Beatles songs, but every once and a while, the "Quiet one" would get a burr on his saddle and pop off one of his protest numbers.
I just had to dedicate my SC member page to one of the greatest protest songs ever!

Good one Hari!
