Good morning, i Just bought a Roland fantom g6. I’d like to update the os to 1.5, now running 1.03.
I followed step by step this procedure as suggested:
1) download 2 file.bin
2) formatted 2 flash drive with fantom (one 4gb and the other 8gb, so i tried them both)
3) put the 2 file.bin in the flash drive root
4) plugged flash into the fantom off first and then switched the fantom on
5) no result
Am i doing something wrong?

Your procedure is correct.
fan_g_upa.bin 9.271.552 bytes
fan_g_upc.bin 22.912.302 bytes
Please download firmware update file again from Roland site using another Computer if you can, and unzip checkin the sizes. Eject USB drives from PC properly.
Then follow the instructions included in upgrade zip file.

File sizesFrom the update folder you downloaded, drag (or copy/paste) both the “fan_g_upa.bin” and “fan_g_upc.bin” files to the USB drive.
