Hi everybody.
What software is better then simply the best to create or edit samples.
I've been tryed to format an ensemble string sample in Sound Forge;
unnecessary parts were deleted;
a range of the sound was selected, then copyed;
this selection was pasted into a new window, then reversed;
the reversed selection was copyed to the clipboard, then inserted at the end of the original file...
What's the problem? I can't eliminate the pop/click of the transition.
But to create a sustaining loop is not a problem.
The questions are:
What's missing to create a sample of this nature free of pops and clicks?
Is there any software more prepared to do this? And if yes, where to download it?
Each advice will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Asking for a sampling tip

Buy the new Adobe Audition, which is formerly known as "Cool Edit". Adobe bought the product and improved it to professional standard. Watch the video "Performing Sample-level Editing" on this web page:

There is a very short and informative video that shows you how to create a seamless, perfect loop that eliminates the click.
