SPD SX SE click track glitch

The onboard click track in the SPD-SX SE has been glitching lately. When playing a loop, out of nowhere, the click will "misfire" quickly, but enough to mess up the timing of the loop, requiring stopping the loop then re-engaging it. This is worrying behavior as I have a gig coming up and really don't need this happening. I read a thread about a similar issue on Gearspace though that issue seemed more to do with the backing track skipping (as a result of not enough memory) rather than the click.

I'm running version 1.08. Connected to the SPD-SX are a RT30K trigger, RT30HR and a BT 1 (through a splitter cable into 3/4 trigger inputs)
Macbook Pro running Big Sur 11.6.
