Does anyone know the Bit-Depth (16bit, 24bit?) and Frequency (44.1, 48, 88.2, 96 kHz?) of the JP80 Coaxial Digital Out?
Has anyone bought a Coaxial to Optical SPDIF converter to connect the JP80 digitally to a mixer / interface requiring optical digital input? If so, what make of converter did you use?
Thanks,
Kevin.

If I'm not mistaken...
44.1Khz 16Bits for the AUDIO Recording
from 44.1 Up to 320 Khz 16 Bits for AUDIO Playback
Regarding COAX OUT Digital Out : SPDIF Standard 44.1, 48 or 96 Khz 16 / 20 Bits
Never used a Coax to Optical converter
Re: Bit Depth and Frequency of JP80 Coaxial Digital Out?
Does the JP-80 auto switch it's digital out frequency based on the audio interfaces rate?
I've not seen that behaviour in any other synth, it has to be set manually.
I'm currently running it at 44.1 but I'll test what happens when I change the settings on my quad capture.
If you must use a converter I've used Lindy converters with great success before, optical>coax, coax>optical and coax>RCA audio.
