Jupiter 80 note cutting out

Hi

I have had my Roland Jupiter 80 for nearly 2 months ( v 2.10 ) and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the following problem - unless I am missing something obvious smile

I have a registration as follows:

I have an Upper Live set for piano, a Lower Live set for organ both split from low note to F#4

I have a cello for the Solo part split from G4 to the top note and with its pitch set at -2

When I play a note in the piano / organ split at C3 and I have the cello playing at C5 the cello suddenly cuts off which is annoying .. it could be any note eg: D3 and D5 - its always when you play the same corresponding note the cello cuts out. I'm sure its not the polyphony as it works ok with playing in harmony

Any ideas ?

Not sure if this helps or not, but it is worth bearing in mind that the Solo layer defaults to monophonic. This can make sounds appear like they're cutting off but it's only because of what you're playing and how you're playing it.

In Registration Edit, turn the solo layer to Poly and see if it makes a difference.

Welcome to RC, by the way! :)
