The L/Mono R main outputs according to the manual are balanced and the manual shows an example of using TRS connectors. However, I currently only play in mono and use the L/Mono output and connect to a BOSS FV 500L pedal .. is there any advantage in using a balanced jack and can I safely use a TS unbalanced cable instead - the length is under 2 metres.
