sound change without interruption.

Hey!

I understood that in J80 if you change a registration while keeping the chord pressed,sound gets interrupted, more or less? If this is the case, can livesets do the thing without interruption?

like if you place liveset 001 to UPPER and then push increase button and it changes to liveset 002?
In this case other 3 "areas" (lower, perc, solo) would be not in use.

Maybe the UPPER can be expanded to whole keyboard range (or not)?

And if in liveset the 4 tones can be layered/splitted, should be enough to make cool sounds.

The osc sound remains but what you are hearing is the effects processor settings changing when the registration or liveset is switched. If you create your own registrations or liveset without radical changes in EFX the transition is near seamless.

And yes the upper liveset can be scaled across the keyboard (same as the lower liveset and solo/perc tones).

just as a note, it would seem that sound change without interruption and flawlessly (in style of fantom G/ kronos /montage for example) can be achieved...

- either in single part play, when changing the part by choosing the wanted one
-> good: only one finger required, the part u choose disables other parts automatically
-> bad: you cant determine the sounds to these locations I guess "automatically"

- or within a registration
-> good: locations are saved
-> bad: you have to use two-finger technique. like having perc and lower off, upper on, solo off -> then changing to to lower by pressing lower/upper same time :P
