question 1)
Was trying out to make this very usable feature, met on korgs, like if one has a hammond sound and you press the keys one time hard , the fast-leslie stays until pressed again, when it slows down.

Only way I got it work, was so that when u keep pressing hard, leslie plays faster, and when u lose the hard-push it slows down, but would prefer the "korg-way".

Is there "latch" for this or did I miss something?

question 2)
In fa-0(6/8) the organ sounds had a very nice distortion, cant remember but maybe it was in the rotary effect itself as an option? However its not the same case on J80 - is it so that if one wants to use distortion it has to be a separate effect or did I miss something?
This separe effect doesnt sound as good as on the fa.

Hmm, if I got this right, Roland put the effect "rotary 3" that has a nice distortion to integra 7 and like in fa-series, but not in JP-80?! Odd, I guess.

Well, even if the JP80 lacks this cool distortion of the FA/I7 I was able to tweak the sound to my liking.
Recorded this clip (using only the jp80 of course :P). Sorry for this fastly made bad demonstration, but point being, at first I felt that the sound I need cant be achieved but I guess this synth can be much more than it seems out at first :)

That's a very nice sounding patch. Reminds me of the intro to Blue Collar Man.
