Hello...
I have a JP80 which I have hooked-up with my Kronos 2-88 - MIDI Out from the Kronos to MIDI In on the JP 80.
When I change patches from the Kronos (which sets to change patch on the JP80 too) and I have the sustain pedal (connected to the Kronos) down, the notes hang on the JP80. The only workaround I have been able to do is to turn off 'Tone Remain' on the JP80, which obviously cuts off the sound which - if it's a pad or string sound, this is not ideal!
Is there any other setting that I am missing - any other ideas, please?
Thanks, Andy

Re: Jupiter 80 hanging notes
It sounds like the Jupiter isn't receiving a pedal CC command. You would need to look at the midi data coming from the Kronos to confirm the Kronos is sending a sustain pedal off command from the midi output port after you've changed the patch. Look at CC 64, 0 to 63 = Off, 64 to 127 = On
