MIDI Out via MIDI Port problem

Hi there,

I want to play a Yamaha Reface CP via the Jupiter-80 keyboard. Therefore I connected the MIDI-out at the Jupiter with the MIDI-in of the Reface without success.

I tried this on the Jupiter in both internal / external setting in the registration - external part. It just doesn't work!

Any ideas what the problem could be? Is the MIDI port on the Jupiter-80 broken?
Is there a setting on the Jupiter-80 to switch between USB MIDI and MIDI via MIDI Ports?

MIDI via USB works fine: I can control soft synths via the Jupiter-80 keyboard.
I also checked the DIN MIDI cable: I can play the Reface via the same cable connected to my Yamaha MO6.

I really would appreciate your ideas - already spent a full day on this ... frustrating.
