Need help with BR-600

Postby daddio307 » 17:40, 12 February 2017

I know it's old school and not many have this model anymore, but this might be more of a universal question. Though they say that this recorder is 'intuitive', if you have never worked with something like this before, it's quite a lot to sift through the manual to suss something out, and I haven't found the answer to this yet.

I want to play in a key that I can't sing in, so I want to record the vocal normally but be able to change the key. In my old Tascam 4-track, there was a method that just slowed down the tape when you recorded, so that when you played it back at normal speed, your voice sounded higher. I would imagine the digital counterpart would work and sound better, but haven't discovered how to do it yet. Please help if you can. Thank you.
