RA-90 Issues

Good afternoon all,

I'm trying to help my Dad out with his old RA-90.
Main issue - We're struggling to get the bass chords to sync with the drum beat.
Anyone have any pointers that may help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone has a easy read setup guide, that would be amazing.
