juno 1 setup help

Post by stormx »

Hi all.
I've just got my hands on a brand new in box vintage juno 1 which has been sat unused in a loft for 20+ years.
I'm planning on letting my 8 yr old use it for music so would like to know the easiest way (and cheapest) to connect it up so she play it.
Can it connect directly to a stereo system for instance?
As you can imagine with a 8 yr old user i don't want allot of expensive equipment lying around waiting to get broken.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I like Piaknowguy's idea.

But if you want to share the Juno experience with the whole family, you can connect it to a stereo system. For that, you simply need two cables that look like this.

One more thing… I have a question for you, Stormx. When you turn on your Juno, does the LCD display read P-11 Brass 1 or P-11 PolySynth1? The answer will let us know which sound set you have.
