Kiwi upgrade planned for the JX10

Postby richardbates1 » 03:10, 7 March 2014

This is an email I received from KIWI (makers of upgrade chips for older synths.) regarding a question whether they have plans for a JX10 upgrade in the future.

Yes, we have plans for this synth.
It will have everything the 106 has but with extra split, layering etc for the two voice cards. Maybe USB but not sure yet. It will also come with an editor like the 106 one. It's a little way off yet though.

Kind Regards

I think this means that having everything the 106 has..... will include an arpeggiator and step sequencer.
Their website shows the specs for the 106 upgrade. Some specs don't apply, JX10 already has amp and filter envelopes so it will be very interesting what KIWI comes up with. Personally I can't wait for this upgrade!
