serious mc 505 drama

Hey all
I accidentally posted a crazy unfinished version of this..oops brand new to the forums sorry!
I'm literally going out on the road performing with my 505 and all my patches are stuck in what appears to be a GM bank.
I know the problem is my midi receive bank select and receive sysex data settings are OFF however I cannot turn them on. Value dial nor dec/inc do anything. Ive tried every configuration to change it including a system reset. Nothing.
The problem occurred after using the tr 8 as master.
Does anyone have ANY diagnoses?
