I have a beautiful old CR-68 that worked just fine when I acquired it 20+ years ago, but over 10 years in storage has left it not functioning.
When I turn it on, the tempo light comes on but the start-stop button does nothing. The switch works fine, so I thought I would replace all the capacitors on the upper logic board, and the main electrolytic capacitors on the power supply side, but the problem remains.
Has anyone else seen similar issues with CR-68/CR-78 units? Any advice or tips would be tremendously appreciated!

Hi did you solve this? try the following. Spray fader lube f5 or wd40 or even alcohol..... into the foot switch sequencer trigger port at the back of the unit. then shove in and out a 1/4 inch jack like 20 times, then clean with cotton bud. repeat this several times, rinse and repeat. Then try your sequencer. it should work, as often the footswitch port ceasing up causes the sequencer to refuse to run.
