Hello,

I bought a Roland D-20 a while ago and I wanted to change the sound via MIDI, I read a couple of forums and bought the Roland Um-one mk2 and tried to upload .MID soundbanks with the One-way Bulk option but it doesn't work. I tried using other programs such as MIDI-ox, the output LED on the Um-One started blinking but the D-20 was still in It's waiting.. screen. Do you guys have any idea? (My computer is running Windows 8)

Does it receive other MIDI messages? (Note on/off, prog change etc)?

Yes, when I plug it into my computer and start playing with FL Studio 11 it works but when I try to send a midi signal to my synthesizer it doesn't do anything, I once used MIDI-Ox and the Um-one started blinking when I tried to send out a signal but the synth still says Waiting...

Does it work if you try a transfer of only one timbre? Also check the Unit number (see manual) the default value is 17.
