D-110 volume pot and knob - spare parts required

Post by Universal Exports »

I recently acquired (for free!) a fully-working Roland D-110 module. Its volume knob was missing and, on closer inspection, the pot stalk had broken off too. I've contacted Roland US and a UK-based engineer to see if the replacement parts can be sourced. Syntaur sent me a replacement knob but I'm still looking for the pot assembly. If you know of any around, please give me a shout. Cheers.

Replacing this part on the D‑110 is very easy. It's a "Drop‑In" part and no modifications are needed. Just unsolder the old potentiometer and pop in this replacement. It's a 50K Ohm Dual Gang Logarithmic Taper and is available from Mouser for only $3 (USD)

I've added some notes about replacing this part at the end of the D-110 Battery Replacement Guide webpage at this link
