Hi
I'm new to the forum so please do not judge me too harshly!
I have a problem with my U220. I've changed the battery after it was low. Stupidly I did not back up my data.
I have downloaded the "patch" from the ROLAND homepage. Unfortunately I can't get the data into the U220. I have set the U220 correctly to receive the data. Can data be "dumped" from one unit to another?
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Re: U220 factory reset---Fixed!!
I've done it!
I have restored my Roland U220 back to the factory settings.
Here's how I did it
1. I downloaded BomeSX from: https://www.bome.com/products/sendsx
2. I downloaded a patch from here: https://soundprogramming.net/synthesize ... and-u-220/
3.After installation select midi USB from the Bome output
4.From the Bome menu select file open and select the U220 factory sysex file.
5.Make sure the U220 is correctly set to receive the data. Sysex receive on Ch16 and Machine No 17.
6.press the send key. The U220 will indicate it is receiving the info and after about a minute it should be done.
I did have to try twice but second time it worked.
I hope this is useful.

Re: U220 factory reset
I'm about to attempt the battery replacement factory reset on my U220. Never having attempted anything like this before I'm scared Sh*Tless- Is there a video of somebody doing this ? Or a tutorial of some kind? Any help on that would be SUPER helpful-THANKS!
