Hi all,
I would like to buy a small synth that would sit on my lap so I can play around with ideas while sitting in front of the tv etc.
I'd prefer a 25 full size keys board, polyphonic to something like 8 notes.
What would you recommend? Alesis? Novation? Korg? make not important...something around £300 or less.
Recommend a 25 key ployphonic synth
Re: Recommend a 25 key ployphonic synth
M-Audio's Axiom 25 is a quality controller. Very solid build. Good range of controls. And it has a loop button too, which many don't.
Re: Recommend a 25 key ployphonic synth
I just realised I misread your post. You want a synth, not a controller. Sorry about that.
25 key poly synth
Here's 2 options...
Small...but good
- Korg MicroX (around 500 €)
Check it out http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?a_pro ... egory_id=1
A much more flexible option (and expensive too...):
- PCR-300 and a SonicCell !!! (around 750 €)
Take care

There's a great page of XioSynth 25 demos on Paolo Di Nicolantonio's SynthMania website.
You might check it out while waiting for Santa
