Hi there,
Does anybody know for sure whether the XV-5080's internal power supply is of the universal/auto-switching type? The website suggests it is but only one voltage is printed on the back.
Anyone with first-hand experience, for example if you imported one from a country with different mains voltage (ie US->Europe/Australia or vice versa) and are using it without converter?
Thanks,
Arjan
XV-5080 power supply - Universal/Auto switching ?
Re: XV-5080 power supply - Universal/Auto switching ?
Just in case someone finds this old post of mine searching for the answer to this question I thought I'd post the answer.
I imported a XV-5080 from the US into Europe and it works fine with 230V so it does have an auto-switching power supply.

Wow -- that is good to know! I guess that Roland, as usual, thought of everything...

I think all Rolands since around 2000 have this, at least the ones with built-in power transformers. Very good feature, agree.
