New soundbanks for Motif XS

Yeah, would be nice to have such a gimmik too, althoug the Fantom reloaded sounds came out before the motif soundbanks were released...

But another thing: When are you planning to release the next OS update, we're all so excited!!!

I get mixed feelings here...

At first I thought Yamaha is trying to up stage Roland on there style of support.

Then I thought, maybe they are afraid of something Roland has on it's way.

Both could be true.

Well, its been a while since roland released their latest support software/patches/Media for the G! It's just normal that we want some new stuff now too, OS updates, new patches etc....
I hope I'm not too demanding, since now the support of Roland busted all my expectations caus ethe G is my first Roland gear!

Mainly we're talking about the Fantom G and the support concerning it?!

The Motif was mentionned only in the Headline?!

it just seem as as if everyone is happy until Korg or Yamaha does something...

When the G was first released (half-assed) everyone had a gripe and rightfully so... 1.10 was released and everyone was happy until M3 expanded came out...

then we had 3 and 4 page SRX discussions and we all were mad at Roland's Support or lack thereof all the time and everyone was taking back their G's and if they weren't they were fanboys...

then 1.20 was released and everyone was happy again... we now have very few discussions about long threads about Roland and getting rid of our G's... we now spend most of our time actually helping each other and sharing sounds... (which is what the forum is meant to do in the 1st place)

and now that Yamaha has done there Xpand your world, here we go again...

I am pleased with what the G can now do, we know that there will be ARX stuff coming out soon and HOPE there will be SRX added along with a SOLO button... just don't put Roland on Korg or Yamaha's timeline...
