TR-808 Hardware Clone

Post by Atziluth »

I have seen a very interesting analog gear, a TR-808 clone.

Have a look at:

www.acidlab.de

An the price is fantastic for such a gear IMO.

Also the TB-303 clone, Bassline 2, sounds interesting for its price.

Very cool. Roland is really missing an opportunity by not re-issuing the original boxes. I mean they could update them with full MIDI capability and what-not but leave the sound and interface as is and people would line up for a 303 "Mk II".

But these are great. Nice find.

Wow, thanks for the link! Really amazing machines. Made me want to buy one off the bass units - will think about it!

They look really cool. I've been using the D16 software emulations of the 808, 909, 606 and 303 and they are seriously good as well, especially when hooked up to an Ohm 64 for a bit of tactile control.
