Are the Samson Mediaone and M-audio AV40s monitors even worth picking up?
I know they aren't considered real monitors, but just computer speakers. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience working with these. Are they even suitable for home recording?
Are these monitors or computer speakers?

MemoryGuy:
I wouldn't call any of this class of speaker "not real monitors." I would call them what they are -- inexpensive and probably reasonably well-made speakers.
The best thing to do, if you buy them, is put them on speaker stands, as in the following thread:
Edirol Speakers thread
And while I'm at it, I'll plug the Edirol MA-15 BK digital speakers. I have owned them for close to two years without any problems. I like them, and on the speaker stands they sound really good.
