A question for "Triton Studio" users and/or Korg specialists

Post by E.Camargo »

Just a question for who has or is planning to experience Triton Studio.

For a blind like myself, the problem on operate the "Triton Studio", I guess that is the "touch view"...
Does Korg have other ways to use the functions monitored by the "touch view"?
Does Triton Studio have a salience over the touch view function or Korg really don't have this kind of accessibility?

Thanks in advance.

A problem that I could see about the Triton Studio touch screen is that it does not always register when you push on it. This is something that I found annoying when I was checking out the heavily used one in the music store. The flip side of this is that the Fantom-S buttons sometimes fire very rapidly and when you mean to push the button once it sometime fires off twice, which can be very annoying as well. I am not real big on touch screens (I am so anal that I don’t like the greasy finger prints on the screen and I am such a tight ass that I don’t want to replace it if it breaks) and so I asked the music store salesman if there was a way to do everything without touching the screen of the Triton Studio. He said that a lot could be done without touching the screen but that some things would need to be done from the touch screen. Those are my experiences with the two keyboards regarding this. I do hope someone with more time spent on the Triton Studio can post his or her thoughts.

You the man, Artemio!

Good to share this experience with you, guys!

Well, at least, Roland still give us the chanse to operate their workstations independently.

When Roland has anounced the virtual arranger VA series, and they have included this feature, I thought:
"Roland is running from their idea about ease of use"... But when I saw the FA-76, I could sit back and relax one more time.
I feel myself satisfyed that in this release, Roland didn't leave the idea of an accessible instrument.
