RC 300 + RC30/RC3

Hi guys. I have a simple question concerning the RC 300 loop pedal. I`m a guitar player/drummer and I bought the Boss RC300 recently and I`d like to add an extra loopstation to my setup just for looping rhythm parts... Could I possibly connect the rc-3/rc-30 to my rc300 and use them together? In terms of - will one device recognize the tempo of the other device, or do they just work separately? Hope this makes sense, thanks anybody for an answer, any advice would be appreciated;)
