Hi 2TIM316,

No thanks, I love them but not that much...
I was also thinking putting a Vocal card in my second JD 990.

I will ask the JD990 yahoo group.

AFAIK, they all are compatible besides the reverse waveform issue. But,
I've read somewhere one of the Experience cards (don't know wich one)
is not JD990 compatible.

Alesis Fusion is the machine I wish i bought instead of the Juno G.
I want to create sounds similar to Gary Numan and the 6HD/8HD can mimick the Polymoog sound. Unfortunately I cant seem to find or create anything on the Juno G that makes a new wave sound. :(

Well Ive just downloaded the tweakbook and no nearer. Its not explained in "laymans terms". I have no musical background so either Im thick as shit or missing some grey matter.

eg

Set the waveforms of tones 1 and 2 to saw.
‣ Increase the Fine Tune of tone 2 slowly while auditioning the patch, and hear how the
resulting sound changes as the frequency ratio grows.
‣ Copy tone 2 to 3 and 4, and detune all four partial tones by setting the Fine Tune to -40,
-15, +15 and +40, respectively

Pardon ? What and where is a saw ? Not a clue and not explained for a first timer like me

Maybe I should just stick to listening to Cds :(

Don't be afraid to ask questions, though.

Thankyou for the link but none the wiser. What im getting at is the expalnation of the Tweakbook. Its directed at experience.

Im mean like the example earlier the book is instructing you to do something that you have dont before but doesnt explain where you start. Where is a button or selection called waveforms and saw on a Juno G ?

Hey, man, someone's got to start with something... should you have read at length my link you wouldn't have asked about "searching for buttons and selections called waveforms". Your Juno probably has a thousand waveforms so you're going to need to browse through them (reading your Juno manual is another requirement :) ). To do this you need to be in patch mode (check your manual) and select "patch edit". Once in patch edit menu go to waveform tab (or whatever, I don't own a Juno so I merely extrapolate) so you can browse through all of them. Once you have reached the desired waveform, feel free to modify other parameters at leisure - or follow by heart Artemiy's tweakbook rules :)
