DIF-AT - Impossible to find?

Post by ultraphenomena »

Well I finally bought a Roland XV-5080 to hang out with my XR and FS1R.
Well it was an ebay purchase so everything works fine except output 1.
So right now I'm just using the SPDIF connection. No big deal.

My plan for the device was to buy a DIF-AT and go the ADAT route in fact that's why I basically bought the 5080. Not doing my home work that Roland would discontinue it - what about all their MV Users?

1. Where are all DIF-ATs?
2. I don't want the Presonus V-Fire it's FW not Adat
3. Here is my idea: What about an "old" Roland mixer/recorder that had RBUS in and ADAT out - any suggestions on which mixer buy/avoid.

Thank you,
Ultra

try on 440forums> Mac
or ebay.
there are many users of VM3100PRO or SI-24 that must have that DIF-AT, and maybe they don't use it anymore (maybe they have V-Fire card now).
