Wondering if anyone else here is a fan of the JD800?
I purchased it new in 1994 and have the brochure, card brochure, all manuals and all the cards except Accordion card. All cards bought from new back in the day, except strings card which I got off E-bay.
Here is a picture of my "collection.

Re: Jd-800 Collection
Hi Hedegaard
JD800 is a super synth. May be Roland will do a new version sometime. I would love more RAM, being able to load save my own samples and of course, no ghost performer because dust in the sliders/buttons.
It´s one of the most beautifull synths done.

Re: Jd-800 Collection
I took the photo pre-wiring while it all looked neat. It looks completely different now - a lot of stuff has moved around and wiring is now in place - but I never got round to updating the photo (damn, should have lied and said I had some unique wireless system ;)apex wrote:IT doesn't look like anything in your photo is even connected? do you use this stuff at all?

Re: Jd-800 Collection
JD800 fan here too!
I didn't have the money when it was released but I've found one in mint condition.
(I took care of the brochure)
Got another JD800 as a spare.(also in very good condition)
Also own a JD990 with vintage card.
Got all cards + a few other rom cards for the JD800 & JD990 + about 9 RAM cards.
