Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone can suggest why me XP-60 just displays 'Disk not ready' when I put a floppy into the drive, regardless of what I try - verify/load/format, I just get the same message. I've tried restarted with the disk in the drive, also made no difference.
The disk itself is ok as my Triton can read/format it ok, so I'm guessing the XP's drive is faulty, if anybody has any suggestions as to how I might fix the problem, they would be very gratefully appreciated.
Many thanks,
Greg
XP-60 Won't read floppy
Re: XP-60 Won't read floppy
You need a new floppy drive. Now you have an option; paying 100 USD for it at authorized Roland dealer, or pay bellow 20 USD for Teac FD 235-HF. This Teac floppy drive REPORTEDLY works, but I have not tried it to verify.
