XP80 XP60 interchangeable parts?

I am a new member--not a tech type. I have an XP80 that has died. My local service person says according to factory they think it is the DSP chip, will cost $200 for part plus service plus shipping. I also have access to a cheap XP60. Anyone know if the electronics are the same, at least the affected part with the digital signal processor (DSP) Anyone know where to get the schematics for the the XP60 and XP80?

Otherwise, I would be interested in selling the XP80 for parts

The motherboard of the XP80 is damaged--Factory could not replace the damaged components--so, like you I am looking for used parts--
