Help setting up JV-30 as a Midi Controller in Ableton

Hello,


I'm trying to setup a JV-30 as a midi controller in Ableton 7, mainly to use it to play softsynths. I am using a MIO MIDI to USB converter. Ableton is reading the MIO but I can not get the JV-30 to send a signal. I'm not familiar with this synth's menus so any walk-through would be helpful.
