Sysex patch bank upload to JV90?
Sysex patch bank upload to JV90?
I found several patch banks for JV80/90 online and downloaded them. I loaded them into MIDIox successfully, but I'm not able to upload any bank to my JV90. Sysex RX is enabled on the JV. With the JV plugged into an amp, I can hear the sound of the datastream as it hits the filters, but the data never actually gets loaded and there is no indication the JV is really acknowledging the upload. Oddly I am able to do a full bank dump to MIDIox, so now the bank which IS loaded in the User Bank has been saved on my computer. But how do I get a Sysex patch bank loaded into this thing? I've been trying and trying to find the right menu/commands to do this. Yes, I have the JV set to channel 1 and also as device 17, just in case you might ask. I'd appreciate some help if it's out there. Thanks.
