JD-800 Crashing Problem

Post by Cuttooth »

So, I've just bought a JD-800 but I'm having some problems with it in that it appears to be crashing.

Sometimes (quite often) when I play a chord or a note, the sound will 'stick' as though hold is activated and the controls (apart from volume) stop working. The only way to get out of it is to reboot it, and then it often takes a while for it to switch on, or I have to leave it turned off for a while before I switch it back on.

Can anyone help me understand what's going on here and/or advise me of a possible fix? I'm thinking maybe updating the firmware might do it but I don't know how to do that...

Thanks...

Start with a Factory Reset I think it is
Press "DATA" TRANSFER, scroll to "FACTORY RESET", press "YES".

All the best
