Roland XP80 buttons becoming unresponsive

Hi,
I've a Roland XP80 that works great.
However some of the buttons are starting to become unresponsive.
Is this something that I can easily repair myself, or will it mean replacing boards etc?
I'm not bad at taking things apart and putting them back together (replaced optical drives and HD in iMac etc), but I can't solder for toffee, so would be no good if this needs to be done.
Any pointers gratefully received.
