RD-300S & JV-1080

Hi There,
Need some help.
I've got an RD-300S connected through the MIDI-OUT to an JV-1080 on MIDI-IN. Both are on MIDI Channel 1. For one reason or the other only part of my key strokes are coming through in the JV-1080.
