I've always been able to deal with any issues regarding any of my gear. They are usually human errors. I have a XV-5050. Love it. It sounds terrific when connected through Coaxial. But now I need the Coaxial input of my audio interface for another device so I decided to use the Optical connector for the XV-5050. Unfortunately, I don't get any signal from that. I tested everything possible: 3 different optical cables, 3 different audio interfaces, 2 different computers, I updated the firmware of the XV-5050 (twice). I'm out of ideas.
Does someone know if there is maybe a setting that I'm missing somewhere?
Thanks in advance,
Lania
XV-5050 Optical sends no signal at all
Re: XV-5050 Optical sends no signal at all
The optical output might be broken... It's difficult to imagine because the coaxial works fine and the optical output produces the red light.
Anyway, the XV-5050 is now connected via the analog output.
Feel free to let me know if you think of something!
