XV-5080 patch recall problem

Post by Caruso »

I recently purchased an XV-5080 an I love it. I am having a problem when I recall patches with my Behringer FC-1010. When I recall patch 10 the XV5080 goes into edit mode and I can no longer change patches until I manually exit from editing. I also get strange functions when I recall patch number 9. All of the other patches work fine. I also use the FC-1010 with my Fractal FX-II and have no problems.

I think either FC-101 is sending some unseen command or the XV-5080 interprets these program change messages as messages to edit?

Any ideas?

Thank You!

Get MidiOx and have a look at the Midi.

It sounds like the FC-1010 is putting out something it shouldn't.
Do you have the UNO modification in the FC-1010?

Royce,
Thanks for your help. The FC 1010 was sending some strange commands revealed by midiox. I edited the FC 1010 using the Un0 control software and everything works perfectly now:)
