Roland A90 and JV1010

Post by Diggel »

I recently got my hands on a Roland A90ex and a JV1010.
I got the JV1010 hooked on the A90 and it is receiving it's midi signal.
Now I use the A90 without amplifier just plugging a headphone into the A90 but.........doing that I do not hear the sounds of the JV1010. When I plug in my headphone on the JV1010 I don't hear the A90.
How do I have to connect the JV1010 to the A90 in order to hear both using a headphone that's plugged into the A90 ??

You will ONLY hear the sounds of the device that you have your headphones plugged into. Some modern units allow you to run external audio thru them and thus you would be able to hear both in a mix but otherwise you will require a mixer or amp of some kind with both the A-90 and JV plugged into in order to hear both together either thru and amp or headphone mix.
