is it normal for display to glitch when booting up? (XV 5080

there are glitches/artefacts/lines on the display when it boots up, though seems perfect when it is at normal operation.

is this normal, could it be a bum firmware?

Not sure what to say - mine does same thing for first 1-2 seconds then goes blank for another second or two THEN the ads start (you know "128 voices blah, blah,.." then add stating how many SR/SRX cards, etc. and those "ads" fade out by removing line sections/segments before showing next ad, or finally going to the performance or patch view"

Mine has been doing the exact same for the 2 years I've had it now, without any impact or degradation over time. I'd believe this is perfectly normal then.
