JP-8000 warped keybed?

Postby Synthtron » 15:57, 20 September 2014

I got my second JP-8000 yesterday (Sold my first one a few years ago) and it is very clean but I just noticed that the keys are not aligned straight. I was Chillin' on my studio sofa and looked over at the JP-8000 and noticed the keys bow or sag toward the middle of the keyboard. Strange, never noticed this before. Anyone notice that on yours? I know the physical keyboard is not the greatest and in fact it seems like the very same keyboard/components used on the XP-10 which was clicky/a bit noisy on the black keys.
Just curious if anyone else noticed this. It is not noticeable unless you look at low angle on the keys.

I opened the JP-8000 up and removed the keybed. I carefully bent it back straight. I am happy.
