Arps - Yazoo

Hi,

I want to set up an arp., for the song Yazoo "Only You". Just a simple arp. Can I have it looped in the backgroud while I play over the arp.?

I just split the keyboard and used the lower tone with an arp, then hit the hold button. Plaid the song on the upper live set part. I am still trying to create a live set. I really like the patch, 80's Syn Brass 16. I am thinking of tweaking this and using it for the keyboard solo in the middle of the song. I am really just an amateur though.

That's what I did with Howard Jones' New Song. I used the lower on a poly sound with a custom made arp (use LIVE 9 to create it) in phrase mode and upped the lower octave +2 on hold. Now it plays the background arppegiation and I use a JP organ sound on the upper. Sounds like the song and with the Aira TR-8, it sounds like the drums Howard use with the Roland TR-808. I love erasure and yaz too though and would love to figure out more patches and ARPs. Thanks for sharing, have fun!
