Both USB ports not working

I've just purchased a second hand Jupiter 50 off ebay which works great... apart from the USB which doesn't work at all.
Both the USB to computer and the USB drive port are totally dead, making it impossible to update the firmware, load any new sounds or use the playback facility for live use (one of the reasons for the purchase).
I've tried several USB cables for computer connection and over a dozen pen drives for the song player port, all of which work perfectly well with other equipment and all of which won't work in the Jupiter 50.:(
Is this something I could fix myself?
If anyone knows of a likely cause (I'm assuming a USB board problem of some kind) and an easy solution I'd be grateful, as I'd prefer to keep it if at all possible rather than have the hassle of sending it back and getting a refund.

Sorted!
Took the back panel off and found the usb connector cable had come away from the motherboard.
Popped it back on and Voila! :)
