Pianknowguy I look forward to your report on how it gets along with the Fantom G!
Re: My Integra Is HOME!!!!!!! =)
Im really curious about the effects section Studio mode or live mode, or what ever its called now >.>
I know each part can have its own MFX. BUT! Say I use all those tracks 16 MFX for 1 sound. Is it possible? If you can find out you sir will be the man! (not that you arent already but yeah...lol).
Of course after you have had your fun with the thing =)

Congratulations! Lucky guy! As the other wrote. You’re free to tell us all about it.
Now we know that they have started shipping over there. Mid October have I’ve been told in Scandinavia
In the download page there is still no Editor. Is there a CD with the software on?
Now I see you have a problem, you're rack is full.
Really nice room you have, big screens and everything. And you have an imperial shuttle.

Now, what was it, 6000 sounds?:)
You may really need that comfortable chair to get familiar with all those sounds and select your favorites.
Something which makes life a lot easier in cases where there's a lot of sounds onboard of a synth/module/workstation is the presence of a simple button which, when pressed, adds the sound you selected to a 'favorites' database.
Anyway, it looks like you're going to be busy for a quite a while.

Have you found some kind of editor yet? Stand alone or VSTi?
Now when we have seen the new Video with Gareth, it’s obvious that there must be an editor. The iPad Editor can’t handle the effects etc.
Or perhaps they forgot about that.

Somewhere in the Manual I think I read you could have your favorite SRX from start.
I’m reading it again
Found it, Page 15 in the Manual
http://www.roland.com/support/article/? ... NTEGRA%2D7
=====
If you want the expansion sounds to be loaded automatically at start-up
You can have the INTEGRA-7 automatically load specified sound data into the EXPANSION Virtual Slots upon startup.
* With the factory settings, the sound data will be loaded.
1. Press the [MENU] button.
2. In the MENU screen, choose “SYSTEM” and press the [ENTER] button.
3. Select the desired sound data for Startup Exp Slot A–D.
4. Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [EDIT] button to save the settings.

Hmm.. obviously this person in the interview clearly dont know his product.
Also it will be interesting to know if you dont have any expansions loaded
what happens when you choose from one of the 6000 patches that require one of the expansions?

Hmmm now we don’t have to be too hard on him, he gave us a lot of other information. And perhaps he’s right? The Manual writer could be wrong, I don’t hope so, but it has happened before.Quinnx. wrote:Hmm.. obviously this person in the interview clearly dont know his product.

You’re other question is interesting. If you create a studioset (performance for those who like the old term) Gareth says it will load it. But if you create what we in the old days called a “Patch” and use a waveform from a SRX that isn’t loaded what will happened?
In a real XV5080 it will sound from that waveform number that is loaded. If I replace Supreme Dance with Orchestral I will hear strings. Not dance synth. Of course, I must point out. But what will happened in the virtual world?

Congrats Al! The box looks real nice there in the Chykerda soundspace, but when do we get to hear it out of the box?

Bump
need an editor VSTi or standalone - don't care which but I also don't care about having a VSTi "editor" for surround (a.k.a. motional) sound. I think an end user would need a no B.S. "patch/performance" editor for Windows/Mac.
in my case. "no editor - no deal" (I already OWN a XV-5080 and a Fantom XR - each fully populated and sitting in remote racks - so have no need to re-buy all the sound but then also have no way to edit.
