That's very interesting, thanks for the feedback! I'm really wondering what might be the cause then... maybe certain unlucky combinations of settings or SuperNatural sounds can cause this? I've got the latest OS version too. Probably I will have to perform some A/B tests to narrow it down.

(Just to confirm that the I7 wasn't the culprit: My above-mentioned MIDI timing woes turned out to be caused by a starved ESI M8U XL interface. It seems my docking station's USB hub ports did not provide enough power, and this interestingly translates into a messed up timing. Took a while to figure out.)

I was able to get connected to my iPad using multiple answers in this thread!
Now to actually RTFM (if I HAVE to..)!
