Integra-7 Controller (MidiDesigner)
Dear All,
using MidiDesigner Pro for iPad (see at http://www.mididesigner.com/) I have built up a controller for Integra-7 (see the attached file) that allows to play any part of an Integra Studio-Set without having to change the transmitting midi channel of your keyboard (and something more...).
Once loaded my layout in MidiDesigner and connected your iPad to Integra-7 via the USB connection, you are ready to use it.
In my MidiDesigner layout you can find:
- a "latched" page:
- a "layer" page:
both showing two sub-pages: "Channel 1" and "Channel 2" and
- a "B3 organ" page (more about it later...):
Each sub-page shows 16 buttons (one for each part), each named with the relevant tone's name (the attached file shows the names of my live Studio-Set tones, but you can change them editing the MidiDesigner layout).
When you press a button the receiving midi channel of the relevant part is changed to channel 1 or channel 2 (depending on which sub-page you are using), whilst a released button changes such channel to #16 (supposing that this is a midi channel you don't use). So you can connect two midi keyboards (one transmitting on midi channel 1 and the other one on midi channel 2) to play all the parts of your Studio-Set.
In the "latched" page when you press a button the previously selected one is released, so you can change very quickly the playing part.
In the "layer" page you can select more than one button at the same time, so that you can layer different parts; please note that:
- for each button there is a knob to set the volume of the relevant part;
- the "latched" page has an "Unbalanc." button that allows you to redirect the sound signal to the balanced outputs (A stereo output) or to the unbalanced ones (B stereo output);
- in the "layer" page you can find, for each part, two sliders respectively setting the low and the high velocity limits, so you can get velocity switching.
With the "B3 Organ" page you can control an organ tone placed on part 1: drawbars, percussion, leslie speed, drive, leakage and key click level. Moreover, on this page, you can find "Mute 1" and a "Mute Input" buttons.
I hope you'll enjoy my MidiDesigner layout and...please let me know what you think about it :-)
Giovanni

Re: Integra-7 Controller (MidiDesigner)
Hi, folks.
I've seen that 14 people have downloaded my Integra-7 controoler layout.
I'd like very much to know their opinion about the layout as well as any suggestion to improve it.
Many thanks.

Re: Integra-7 Controller (MidiDesigner)
hello i tryed to download from the apple store mididesign lite in order to use this interface , but it appear to cost 999,99 euro vs the 24 of the pro version no one knowing what's going on with mididesign price ?.. I thought the lite version to be free....or at least cost far less than the pro version , maybe its a bug on the apple store ...
